摘要

Following the idea of multiplex optical holograms, multiple microwave holographic gratings are designed into one hologram, which can then be implemented by using the printed artificial dielectric technique. Two types of multiplexing methods are considered: sequential recording multiplexing and simultaneous recording multiplexing. Simulations for a four-beam recorded microwave hologram show the similarities and differences between the methods. It is found that the simultaneous recording method results in more diffraction waves, and is hence less efficient for the desired beam reconstruction than the sequential method. For beam splitting applications, both techniques can achieve the same results.
