摘要

Two large deformation crystal plasticity models taking into account of anisotropic damage effect are presented and discussed. The constitutive models are formulated by using the theory of continuum damage mechanics and the internal state variable theory. Both the two models can reflect the plastic anisotropy and damage evolution not only depend on the deformation, but also on the lattice orientation. The paper does in the first place aim at a discussion about the relevance of the physical properties described by the constitutive models. The two models differ in the consideration of the influence of damage on the constitutive behavior of single crystals. The responses of the obtained finite deformation models are then discussed for loading processes with homogenous deformations. Simulation results show that the two models exist differences in disclosing the physical mechanism for single crystals but they predict the same trend of material’s mechanical behaviors. From analysis it reveals the models can not only describe the plastic anisotropy of single crystals but also display anisotropic damage evolution associated with different orientations.
