摘要

This article considers the various ways by which the law may control the use of information short of recognising a right of property in information, and the different characteristics of those forms of control. The Article suggests that the ready transmission of information by modern communications facilities makes desirable a harmonised internationally recognised scheme of protection for information, as a development of the TRIPs agreement.
